What specifically do you mean by "moderate"?

I miss the times of moderates in the US as a whole.
Are moderates the minority? Are the extremes Rs and Ds just the most vocal (and leaving us moderates with no choice but to vote with our party albeit disgruntled)?

It is and will continue to be the downfall of DMV area, but the voters have spoken. I know many who have left the area due to the polarizing way of Democratic/Liberal voters, and I've known some who just stop voting and being involved in politics. I guess that's winning in some people's viewpoint, I see it as an adjunct failure. Kinda sad.
True! For example, most Democratic voters believe that you shouldn't violently storm the Capitol to interrupt the Electoral College proceedings, when you are upset that your candidate lost! And are completely intolerant of people who believe that this is ok - for example, people who refer to "Democrat voters," watch Fox, and hang around with MAGA Republicans.

The people in NoVA will find any excuse to vote Dem regardless of how bad the candidate is.
It's the same thing with many Republicans and Donald Trump.
No matter what these people say or do, they will always have loyal legions of cult-like supporters.
The Dems up here will destroy the area, have fun!

Voted for Descano bc I think he’s doing a fair job and Nuttal had too many Republican endorsements for my comfort. Voted against McKay but knew that was a long shot. I’m pretty much thrilled with the results.
