2-3 time a week is what raises eyebrows on dcum and I think that is normal for healthy couples even in their 60s. I am actually amazed that people stop having sex in their 30s on DCUM. I am not talking about during pregnancy, postpartum. deployment, accident or being ill. Perfectly healthy married people are not having sex. How is it even possible? Isn't easily accessible sex the best part of marriage ?

There used to be a woman who posted about being sad about not having mom friends. Anytime (I mean anytime) anyone would post anything about being lonely she would pop on and post about not having friends and she started many posts as well. She is married to a surgeon and they're both from the West coast and are estranged from family. They have one kid and she felt rejected from all mom's groups and then from kindergarten as well and was in therapy to try and understand why no one likes her. I feel like she must have posted 30 times over the course of years and then just disappeared. She was always identiable because she had a certain way of writing.
Anyone remember her? I wonder what happened.

I’m definitely one of the “just get a divorce” posters. I’ve been married 25 years. But I always feel bad for these posters that have significant issues with their relationship and don’t even have kids. Nothing gets better when you have kids (unless your problem is infertility). Every marital problem is magnified immensely when you have two kids. I have only two pieces of advice for the generations after me; 1) wear comfortable shoes and underwear and 2) marriage should not be hard work before you have kids. If you’re not having fun without kids, get out now before kids will tie you to this person forever. I feel like those are the only two truths I really know.
