See, I actually like C&C. Emily's not a good writer, but she has I think improved the blog over the last year or two, from when she had so many guest writers who were trying to make it something it wasn't, commenting on politics, etc. Those writers and posts always felt forced to me on there, and now I think it's actually back to feeling more authentic. Emily was genuine when she named it "Cupcakes and Cashmere" when she started - looking at the blog over the past 18 months or so, it's really gone back to posts about food & style, because that's where her interests actually lie/have always lain, and I think, where her strengths are. I've made many of the recipes she's recommended over the years, and they've all been excellent. She knows her food.
