It's also reasonable for him to want a partner who will spend meaningful time with him. And I'm not saying her professional ambition is unreasonable, it's absolutely not. She's had a lot on her plate with three kids and empire-building. But it's easy to see how they would be incompatible and grow apart.

I don’t think it’s “creepy” if he end up with a younger woman who can still get pregnant. Maybe he always wanted multiple kids and Reese was too old for more than 1.

I never thought that about her. It was a second marriage, she is type A workaholic and he isn’t, her son had issues and graduated from a virtual high school, and her daughter dropped out of college as an upperclassman.
Her daughter is a successful influencer. And I don’t think Berkeley offers many online courses (anymore). You’d probably struggle to stay in Berkeley and motivated to take classes too if you had companies sending you massive checks and flying you everywhere.

First time actually watching it as well and I had the opposite reaction. From all the hoopla at the time I expected her to behave far more entitled on the video footage than she actually did and repeatedly play the “do you know who I am” card.. Yes she’s drunk and annoying but mostly just asserting her perceived rights as an an American citizen versus playing the celebrity card and I can envision thousands of no name upper middle class/wealthy DCUM spawn reacting similarly in the situation.. Yes towards the end she makes a couple of (accurate) side comments that this alleged “violation of her rights” will end up making national news due to her name but it’s pretty clear through the majority of the video that she’s focused on her perceived rights as an American citizen versus demanding special treatment.

She wasn't driving. Her husband was, and he pled guilty for DUI

I sort of do agree she was older beyond her years but I attribute that to being smart, type A, and raised in the South where she went ahead and married and had babies at 22 because that's what a good girl does. Unfortunately, she had those babies with a sleaze.

I loved them together but Ryan seemed openly resentful of her success and did not know how to handle it (see them presenting at the Oscar’s when he made a remark that she earned more than he did, and a Howard stern interview he did while they were married.) he cheated, and he also seems to have turned into a creep.
