I work in digital forensics. When I process a phone and their apps, the software shows me all the permissions each app has. Perhaps I should post a screenshot of the TikTok app on my phone vs. the Instagram & other apps so you can compare. They are identical.

The US military banned TikTok years ago, stating TikTok is a major security threat. Most other government components have come to the same conclusion, and followed suit.
I believe they are all telling the truth: TikTok is a threat.
