I still like them. I agree, this is something you either like or don't like.

Same. But I used to just eat 1 per year.

Did they change the flavor? I remember them being creamier and less sugary than they are now.

This is what I wonder, too, or if my tastebuds just changed from childhood. They probably used to have more dairy in them and now have more sugar.

Agree. The Cadbury mini eggs are still awesome, though.

This is real. They changed, and now I think they are gross. Loved them until then.

(Related, but US-manufactured Cadbury chocolate is manufactured by Hershey, and it’s bad. I stock up on the good stuff when I’m traveling in the UK and Ireland. Here’s an article about it: https://www.businessinsider.com/cadbury-chocolate-different-in-us-vs-uk-evidence-2018-5#the-difference-is-subtle-but-its-real-17)

Sometimes I’ll drain the egg and just eat the chocolate because now I’m a refined grownup.

All said, this is my secret shame and Cadbury eggs are gross. Really.

I don't think there's any chocolate in these eggs. At least not anymore.

She says while swilling a Diet Coke.

Practically all of my PhD and MD professors at university were sipping Diet Cokes all day. Only proles who've given up are eating disgusting and poisonous fake chocolate candy eggs offered for sale next to the till inside of grimy gas stations. If you're going to indulge in empty calorie sweets, at least spend a few bucks to make it worthwhile. Ideally, a couple of nice high-end truffles. But even Justin's dark chocolate peanut butter cups you can find at Whole Foods and Target for $3 are a rung up from these vile eggs.

I just bought a couple in my grocery order because of this thread.

Dammit.

Nope - had one when I was a kid and couldn't even finish it.

I usually have a small bag of Cadbury mini eggs while DH likes his annual Creme Egg.

Not particularly delicious but I still feel like I have to have one every Easter. They're the candy corn of spring.
