The vast majority of aborted babies are Black.
By their mothers, who made the decision to have an abortion (a very difficult decision). There is no “mass abortion” happening.
It’s not always a difficult decision. For a poor woman, particularly a first generation college student or someone struggling to feed her existing children, an abortion may be the easiest decision she ever makes. She might regret having gotten into the situation in the first place, or regret having to do what she needs to do in order to pay for it, but terminating the pregnancy often brings about nothing but relief. Same goes for women who wanted the pregnancy but found out late the fetus was doomed to die.
Don’t fall into this fallacy that abortion is some huge moral struggle for most women. most women have no issue separating a real live baby from a 6-week possibility and don’t share the moral views of those who refuse to acknowledge a difference. The vast majority do not regret the choices they make.
Even if it is a hard decision, it’s hers to make.
Not the decision of controlling fools who want to make our country into a theocracy.

What kind of fool thinks abortion bans are going to increase the birthrate? They have the direct opposite effect. Less women will want to risk a pregnancy. Less medical professionals will want to practice in the system. The standard of maternal care decreases. These bans cause a downward spiral in birthrates.

I was there on business and walked into a bank to make a deposit and the teller was telling me how excited she was to try cfa for the first time. As someone who lived in the south and had cfa many times it was the silliest thing I ever heard but even in super liberal NY they wanted it and didn’t care.
