I would say it was the Libertarians who pushed this the most.

Walking by or behind someone smoking pot doesn’t make me cough, my clothes and hair don’t smell like it for the rest of the day. In my neighborhood some of it actually smells pretty good. Never could say that about cigarettes!
Try living in a condo, apartment or townhouse where your neighbors smoke pot regularly. Even outdoors, on a patio or balcony. You'll change your tune. It won't "actually smell pretty good" when it permeates your home, furniture, clothing and the air you breathe. Pot smoke absolutely can seep through walls, shared attic space, anything, and neighbors' homes where walls, floors or ceilings adjoin will start to stink. And you cannot paint walls or clean upholstery enough to get the f**k RID of it. So enjoy your high-horse "well, walking by someone smoking pot isn't so bad!" crap but know that as soon as you get a regular weed smoker as a neighbor, you are going to change your
I’m sorry but you are unhinged. This wasn’t even a thing when everyone smoked everywhere all the time. You sound unhinged.

"Unhinged"! The good old DCUM default "response" that means nothing at all except that you can't deny what I said.
There have been lengthy threads on DCUM over and over about pot smoke permeating non-smokers' homes in DC when neighbors smoke. There's been news coverage about the issue in DC and other places (hello, Colorado) where weed smoking is prevalent.
The fact you haven't paid attention to any of that, or you're so sheltered you really do think that living next to potheads is no big deal, is your issue, not mine. But I suspect you're the weed smoker and are already "nose blind" to the stench your weed produces.

What mess? Lol the smell of weed? 100x better than the “good old” republicans that chain smoke Marlboro reds still because it’s AMERICAN!
You are OK with all the stoned drivers weaving all over 495? You can smell them way before you catch up to them.
The least of my problems on the beltway is a car smelling like weed.
yep. They sit there on the bench on the platform. The station manager refuses to say or do anything.Anonymous wrote:They are doing it on the Metro platforms and nobody says anything.

You don't like reading?
I have been reading my entire life and have never felt the need to have a drag queen read to me. I have also read to my kids since birth and they are both avid readers who have never requested to be read to by drag queens or people smoking weed.
