If APS is serious about this, that should not be a possiblity; because the guardian's name must be on utility bill, etc. Or how about the vehicle registration must be to the Arlington address used for the school system?
It really can't be that difficult to say; sorry you are not actually living with that relative!

How does one just use a relative's address? Wouldn't they need a document with their own name on it?

Oh boy. As someone that grew up in AZ they have a long history of allowing people to attend schools out of boundary. As in it was common place when I was in elementary school in the 80s. AND it doesn't' even have to be within your own district. You could go to schools in other districts. They have had open enrollment for as long as I can remember for much of the Phoenix metro area. Anyway, seems like you don't really understand anything about the AZ education system. Unsurprisingly.

Anyway, as another poster said. APS is investigating this. So not sure what your deal is.

You really can’t compare a huge western state with the DMV area, it wouldn’t make sense here due to population density
