Anonymous wrote:We have enjoyed many of our school visits, but one school I don't see mentioned often on this board is Rollins College. It is the prettiest campus I've ever been on. My husband kept asking, "Are we on a movie set?!” The campus tour was excellent. It seems like the students have good relationships with their professors. The town of Winter Park is just a few steps off campus and is so quaint. Students were happy--I mean, how could they not be on that campus? My DC ended up somewhere else, but we hope our other children will give it a look.

Anonymous wrote:Elon- The gardens are gorgeous (I love gardens...) and the school has such a nice vibe. My kids weren't didn't end up applying there but I really enjoyed the tour.

U Chicago feels like you are in Harry Potter
Castle and gorgeous grounds
Very unexpected
I saw couple mentions of Wake Forest and wanted to add that on our tour of the school we met some student group on cafeteria patio (school was in session) that were performing comedians. Cannot remember club name. They were actually hilarious and DS thought it was very cool. And it was beautiful Spring day. Best tour.
I’m the alum that posted earlier - I can’t remember the name of the group, but was it like an improv theater group? There was one that did performances every semester and the whole school would go. They would do bits about student health and stuff like that. A couple girls from my freshman hall were involved. I’m going to have to look it up because it’s going to bug me!

We went to U Delaware the week before and it was nice.. in a boring way. but Temple won hands down for school spirit and clean, modern facilities. Yeah yeah yeah, I know the surrounding area is rough.

University of Kentucky. Really pretty campus, nice students, and a lot of interesting research. Unexpected.
