Costco Leesburg had about 2 carts of 18-count Egglands Best eggs for $4.39!!! One per person and I just happened to be walking by when the employee was handing them out. I grabbed a pack and by the time I had walked back by from the bottled water around the corner, all were gone.

It's stupid, but I've been talking about this score way too much. 18 eggs! $4.39! Egglands Best brand!!

I can easily obtain pasture raised organic eggs. IMO the price increase is negligible.

OP is full of it. I just pulled up my Wegmans app and there are eggs ranging from $3.29 to $7.48 with wide range of prices in between.

I bought a dozen organic eggs at Wegman's on Sunday for $4.79! City Ridge Wegman's in DC.

We get ours with our South Mountain milk delivery and they're $5.29 for a dozen large, if anything that might be an increase from 4.99. My guess is they haven't been hit by the bird flu, knock on wood.

Are these golden eggs? Just paid something like $4.65 or $5.65 for an 18-pack at Whole Foods (365 brand).

Eggs are so cheap for what they provide. For $5 I can get enough eggs to serve brunch to my entire family. I buy the expensive cage-free eggs because I care about chicken welfare and it's still only like $7
