Overrated doesn’t mean bad—-it just means hyped beyond all reason.

I'm aware of that.

I agree the following are over-rated:
Roses Luxury
Fiola Mare
The Italian Store
Elephant Jumps
Seasons 52
Le Diplomate - Not bad, but usually oversalted
Taco Bamba
Barley Mac
Blue Duck

I enjoy:
Tail up Goat
Rasika
Thip Khao, although some dishes are not good

I thought the restaurant was good, but not $1000 good. I don’t think any restaurant is that good. That said, it is still one of the best restaurants we’ve been to in the area and I’d go back in a heartbeat. Loved the afternoon tea. Loved the breakfast. Loved the rooms. Loved the service.

Agree - I love the overall experience. The dinner is just a part of it.

Tom Sietsema famously gave them 0 stars. So while I agree that it is terrible, it's at least appropriately rated. Of course I might agree that 0 stars is still overrated!

I have an out of town client who loves that place. Describes it as farm to table. I can't convince him otherwise.

I no longer care for some of the places I loved before Covid: Dabney, Rose's Luxury, Convivial, Tail up Goat... not sure if the food got worse or I got picky.

Bresca is overrated. I hate their duck.

If you live in Westover or Cherrydale and this happens to be your neighborhood sandwich and pizza joint? Well, it’s pretty amazing to have one this good! It’s probably not a place to drive a half an hour or more for. We are in Westover and love it.

Northside Social is more of a bar that serves food. Like Clare n Dons. You don't go for the food.

The food is awful and they were not friendly
