I don’t have a way to meet women in person, and there’s no way to convey my income on OLD without coming across as very tryhard and desperate. If you saw my profile and job description you’d probably assume I made a fraction of that. Even if you met me in person you would probably assume I don’t make close to 450. Some people have said I shouldn’t lead with money because of the people it attracts and I agree, but the not leading with money thing hasn’t been working out too well so far, so I don’t know what to do.
Another poster mentioned you need to make 800k to be top 1%, maybe I have it wrong but I’m pretty sure the threshold for top 1% individual income is only about 400 give or take.

You need to somehow make it obvious without being obnoxious that you make that much money.
As my cousin used to tell her short younger brother, “don’t worry, you’ll look tall while you are standing on your wallet”
What do you do? How much do you earn? Have you paid off your debt and if so how much do you have saved?
OP here I work in tech, made 450k last year with 1.1M in assets including home equity. No debt other than my mortgage.
No way that American women aren't interested in you unless you are an a-hole. There are plenty of short women in America. There is something about you that this isn't working for you.
He's probably shooting for a tall woman (5'8 and over, for taller kids, that was my dating experience in my 20s when shorter men explicitly told me they would only marry a tall woman to have taller kids)
I exclusively aim for women my height and shorter (I am open to taller women but pursuing them is a waste of time imo). In my dating profile it’s not really obvious how much I make.
As a tall woman I happened to date guys slightly shorter than me. We had good sexual compatibility. When I dated men 6’ and taller, they were too big for me in bed. You know what I mean. 6 inches is my max for a successful O as I am otherwise thin and compact in all places. You need to widen your search criteria and project stability and serious intentions.
OP here and I would be too big for you too, I’m not sure there’s a correlation between height and member size

I do know people who eventually left to go back to their home country. Not because of a green card but because they just missed their family. If you are willing to live abroad it might work better.

I own a home, am fit, have outdoor hobbies, high paying top 1% income, but am very short at 5’5 and I suspect this is the reason I have no luck on apps. Occasionally I will match with a woman I have zero attraction to. I don’t want to be single forever and want a wife who is somewhat attractive (not looking for a model), would going on one of those international dating sites be worth it? I have dated women before but my last gf I met in college and we broke up 3 years ago (just getting back in to dating) and I have no good way to meet women in person these days. It’s way harder than I thought it would be, to be honest.
Top 1% in the US means you make over $800K. You are 30 years old. Are you telling me you don't have friends who are dating/married and their gf/wives aren't trying to get you introduced to their friends?
This has to be a troll post. If you're making that kind of money at your age, find a matchmaker in DC and let them do the work.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Sure you can do that. People do it all the time.
However, do not send them any money. If they ask for money then bye....
Does this really happen? Is it ever not a scam? Do you know someone personally who has done this with success? Thanks in advance.

She’ll leave the second she gets her green card.
