Not true. We don’t know where OP is right now and how big the house is, but in the vast majority of places, $130 is more than enough to clean an average size house/apartment. $3-400 are ridiculous.

This.
I'm not OP but I posted about staying in a bad house with black mold over New Years weekend. It was booked by a friend, not me, and I asked if she was going to leave a bad review. She said no because she wanted to maintain her high rating because she books them all the time. She said her review would be something like "had an issue that the host immediately fixed" and I was floored. No one being able to take a shower in a black mold-free environment for 24 hours isn't an immediate fix, but okay, keep your rating, sure.
I can see Airbnb being the best option for a large family vacation but for me and my family (2 adults, 2 kids), a hotel is perfect for us. We usually book a room with a kitchenette so we can do our own breakfast and lunch to avoid having to eat out so many times.
I've never encountered black mold in any hotel and I stayed in some shady Super 8 motels growing up with poor parents, ha.
oh no surface mold, lol, do you even own a home? black mold requires testing and analysis you are very ignorant or a troll

this is a lie, its impossible to remove a review unless it violates a very narrow policy for racism, and retaliation
OR property owner has the ability to BLOCK a negative review.
yeah this is a lie too, there is no way to do that
