It should be collected by the government and disposed of with dignity and respect. In fact, when Democrats are in charge again, we should create a new Department of Cultural Respect responsible for handling these matters. It could be small, no more than a few thousand employees and a $1 trillion budget.
We need hundreds of new agencies like this to address all the sorts of grievances that I think government should be in charge of addressing.
