Let you DH sleep in if you're worried he'd exhausted. Surely he can go to bed at 1am sleep till 8 or 9am and be ok on Thanksgiving?

How far do you live from DCA? If you live in DC or close in Fairfax County or MoCo or Arlington or Alexandria I have no understanding of where you're coming from. Do you have very small kids? Even if so, put the visitors in charge of them tomorrow -- send them out to get donuts, turn on the TV. You're gonna be fine.

Same here, but different families have different dynamics. It sounds like the OP comes from a different family experience/pattern and her SIL comes from one like yours and mine.
