Newsom is too slick and fake to win a general election. A rich, entitled Californian white dude with slicked back hair is not winning states like Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
The problem with Dems is that they just don’t have an impressive roster of up and coming presidential candidates. DeSantis, Youngkin, and Lake have a much better chance of winning the presidency than Harris, Newsom, Buttigieg or anyone else the Dems have in the wings and it has nothing to with their politics. They are just more personable candidates. The Dem establishment is so out of touch that they have been trying to sell Beto as a national politician and he can’t even win elections in his own state.
Sure, it’s a problem that dems to have a rockstar like Obama up and coming to inspire the world. But it’s a far larger problem that republicans endorse fascism. I will take a party of principles over a party with an autocratic “face” any day.
Fascism is when government and large corporations collude in an authoritarian state. So, forcing everyone to take a vaccine produced by multinational corporations and getting people banned from social media for being skeptical of it is fascism. So is colluding with social media companies to ban dissenting opinions from social media.
Do you know what fascism means?
Thank you. Liberals throw around this word and associate it with Republicans. Pure projection on their part.

Not to mention stupidity. If they really knew what fascism meant, they wouldn’t be Democrats.
Their definition of fascism = European-style abortion laws

WTH? Speaking of petulant child - why the tantrum? Millions think *Democrats* are completely wrong. It’s pathetic that you are so convinced of your righteousness. Life must be difficult for you. Get over yourself.

Nah. The problem is and always has been that Dems are not a monolith and don't vote for party only. GOP voters will vote straight ticket no matter what a lying, grifting, treasonous POS is on the ticket. Dems are more critical of their candidates.
The other problem, is the extreme cheating and gerrymandering by GOP to win elections. They wouldn't win a fraction of the elections they do if they didn't do those things.
Facts.
DP. You wouldn’t know facts if they jumped up and bit you. This forum is quite the window into the LWNJ mind.

Which lie are you referencing? There are far too many for us to know unless you’re specific.
The one in the OP link. The one the thread headline is about.
The link refers to multiple gaffes not a single lie.
But they all are inconsequential and he led with the travels with Xi exaggeration that is irrelevant. He’s not spreading dangerous disinformation as Trump and half of Republicans in Congress have done regularly.
DP. So what?! Why is every response a stupid deflection to Trump? Admit the issues your own guy has with lying, among other things.

Who cares? Pretty much every American should.
He has told so many lies that many of us discount anything he says anymore. He says he is doing "everything to bring down gas prices." Then, turns around and tells some environmental nut "No more drilling."
When you cannot believe what a person says to be true, you begin to doubt everything that comes out of his mouth. And, that is where we are.
And, I'd be surprised if our allies didn't do the same.
What is wrong with you? Did you not go to school?
Biden is not the liar. Trump and the Whole Republican party are.
Today they are already screaming the "election is compromised" mean while it hasn't even happened yet.
Maga is so stupid.

Right. Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham could really teach her a thing or two about charm and humility, couldn’t they?
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ylmkVh-vCRw
Imagine any MSNBC host being confronted like this by a random, slightly threatening stranger. What would there reaction be? Tucker is actually very humble and self aware for such a rich and influential media figure.
Cool. Now do Paul pelosi being “confronted” by an extreme right winger. Or maga nuts storming there Capitol to hang Nancy pelosi and execute Mike pence.
Also I’m glad tucker Carlson is able to live in peace despite the hatred he angrily spews on air every night. Doubles down on what a hack he really is.
I can’t even begin to address what you’re saying. PP said Tucker wasn’t humble. How humble is it to offer fly fishing advice to a random crazy person filming you while you’re out fishing in Central Park with no security on your lunch break? That is several layers of humility.
And speaking of threats, Tucker had to move from DC to rural Maine after an Antifa mob threatened his wife and kids at his house and tried to bang down the door. What are you even talking about?

This and the attempted assasination of a Supreme Court justice don’t count as political intimidation and violence in your book I guess.
Are you referring to the “assassin” that self-reported himself before actually attempting any assassination? Must be exhausted walking around with that cross all the time. So afraid of people who are so incompetent they don’t even attempt a shot.

Also, the description of her "tone" reeks of sexism.
