When a person thinks they are smart it is a sure sign of stupidity. I am unaware of this greater democracy in Ukraine than in Sweden. You can have "elections" and call yourself a democracy, does not make you a real democracy. That is like me calling China socialist, and not a dictatorship.

Here's an example. During World War 2, the Soviet economy was almost entirely supported by the US and its allies to help it fight against the brutal Nazi invaders. The Lend-Lease aid totaled 180 billion dollars in today's dollars ( https://ru.usembassy.gov/world-war-ii-allies-u-s-lend-lease-to-the-soviet-union-1941-1945/ ). But I don't think anyone thinks that the Soviet Union was no longer independent of the US because it received this aid.
Eighty years later, history repeats itself as the US is again helping a country (Ukraine) fight off a brutal invasion.
Define “entirely supported” by numbers please.
