And about abortion? Here's a clip: https://twitter.com/v_theclash/status/1569354721479073792''

This "terrifies" you? That the man has a strong faith and that they care enough about their kids to make the choice to homeschool?

Wow. Weak much?

DP, he is entitled to his religious beliefs, and to follow them in his own private life. But I don’t want anyone imposing their religious beliefs on my health and body.

What beliefs are legislators allowed to impose? Why can’t they legislate in conformity to their religious worldview?

Are you familiar with the principle of separation of Church and State? It’s a metaphor that Thomas Jefferson used.

Well, my religion says murder is wrong. Should I just ignore that in favor of survival of the fittest?

Does it? Can you quote the scripture?

Exodus 20:13; Matthew 5:21

I am a moderate voter in VA 10 who also could have voted for Hung Cao, but I cannot see my way to voting for an election denier and someone that refers to the insurrectionists as his people. If Wexton hangs on, Republicans need to think about their strategy. There are a lot of us in the swing districts who don’t particularly love the Dems that could be persuaded to cast our votes for your non-Trumpy candidates. But if you make us choose between a Trumper and a more moderate Dem, we feel like we have no choice but to choose the more moderate Dem.

Vega and Cao winning would signal the end of moderate candidates in swing districts. Spanberger and Wexton are towards the center of the aisle and both are running against candidates who are towards the extreme edge of their party. If they lose, what is the point of running moderates?

I think both Wexton and Spanberger will win, and those are 2 seats that Republicans could have flipped easily if they didn’t trot out the crazies. It’s cutting off their noses to spite their faces.

Sorry. Hit enter too soon. Anyway, the U.S. is not a theocracy. If you want that, try an Islamic republic or the like.

Wexton no chance she loses. Spanberger's district is more D than it used to be. I think she wins in the new district, but would have lost in the old.

If you're a moderate, what is your problem with Jennifer Wexton?
