When FCPS started sending AAP kids from the Langley pyramid back to Cooper MS, a lot of academically focused families moved into the McLean pyramid so their kids could attend Longfellow MS, which historically was one of the top feeders to TJHSST. But, of course, not all those kids get into TJ. For the past two years, McLean has had more NMSFs than Langley, a wealthier school.
I have no dog in this fight, but I believe McLean has like 600 more students that Langley
