Weekday: A low-fat cheese stick, glass of nonfat milk and a small bowl of blueberries. Mid morning I’ll have a cup of coffee with a dash of creamer.

Weekend: 3 scrambled eggs made with cottage cheese.

Frozen blueberries mixed with yogurt are so good!

I normally have coffee with sugar and cream and alternate between a bowl of oatmeal, cereal and milk, or two eggs over easy with some sautéed greens.

Something really high protein:

Cottage cheese and fruit
6 egg whites
Smoothie with two scoops of protein powder
Occasional fritatta on the weekends
Banana and peanut butter if I'm in a rush.

Protein keeps me full longer.

Usually one of the following:

Plain yogurt with oats and half banana (or some blueberries, etc). Cucumbers or bell peppers.

Two hard boiled eggs with a little salt. Spring mix type greens with some lemon juice.

Half avocado and smoked salmon.

Yes, avoiding carbs at breakfast

but don't they usually replace the fat in nonfat foods with sugar? re: low carb

The quiche is crustless, so nothing in there, so you must be talking about the yogurt. If you buy a flavored yogurt, sure. But plain, nonfat greek yogurt does not have extra sugars.

Coffee with creamer (slightly sweet), usually one regular and one decaf

1/3 of the time something really light like a bowl of fruit (oranges, watermelon, nectarine, etc...) and a handful of almonds

1/3 of the time something more substantial like fruit with cottage cheese or fruit and fried egg or fruit and sourdough toast with butter and jam/or half a bagel with cream cheese or fruit with bacon (almost always a fruit +___ situation)

1/3 of the time I don't eat until lunch (between 12-2)

I am not huge on breakfast foods, hate runny eggs, hate oatmeal, and hate cereal + milk.

Breakfast 1 is 2 eggs scrambled, lately I've been making them with a handful of spinach, heirloom tomatoes and feta. That is around 6:45am before work. Then I have breakfast 2 at work around 9:30 and that is typically a greek yogurt that I add berries and sometimes some honey or granola depending on when I'm going to have lunch.
