If you are consistent in your efforts to workout, eat healthy, and reduce alcohol intake, you can look pretty good for a long time. You have to be consistent though. If you never exercised or ate healthy, you are going to have an uphill battle to maintain your body and looks. Also, don’t underestimate the impact of a good haircut/color and dressing well on how you look and feel.

I seriously think that celebrities pay people to silently edit their ages across media platforms in a very slow and strategic way. It's not all at once, but she was definitely more than two years older than me twelve years ago.

This is well known. And makes her figure even more impressive.

Yes, time has proven that Eva is better looking and has aged much much better than many of the beautiful actresses of her time. We both agree.

Well Eva wasn’t a big movie star either. But looks wise, she was actually way above the likes of Jessica Biel!!!

Eva was never considered in their league but now she looks better than all of them and she’s their age or older. Kate Beckinsale in particular, what on earth? Eva is playing the long game. Love that for her.

Are you kidding me?? She has always been gorgeous!!!

But please be aware that all celebs have plastic surgery in addition to $ for help with diet, exercise, and kids. Don’t compare yourself to surgically enhanced celebrities.

And genetics

Yes, one thing that becomes very clear if you ever spend any time dealing with celebrities like this up close is that many of them were simply born MUCH better looking than the rest of us. This is hard to understand if you only see them in photos or on screens, where they are generally surrounded by people who are either also genetically blessed or who have spent a lot to look genetically blessed. But if you interact with the beautiful people up close you realize that even without the plastic surgery and other enhancements (which they all 100% get, especially after 35, but often even before that), these are beautiful people. Most of them got their "big break" before the age of 25, usually before they've had a chance to do a lot of work. They are better looking than 99% of people.

A good example is Jennifer Garner. She got her first real roles in her late 20s and if you look at photos from then, it's clear she had work done once she hit stardom with Alias (the biggest tell is her mouth -- she had a gummy smile in her 20s and had it fixed). But I met her at auditions back then and she was absolutely gorgeous and definitely had "it" factor even though she'd never done anything. Some people really are kind of born to be stars. They cannot pass as normal people. Never met Longoria but my guess is that she falls in this camp.

+1. I met Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Giselle and Ben Affleck back in the day, and they all stood out in a crowd of some very beautiful and successful but regular (non star) people. Just drop dead gorgeous in person at their peak.

Heard the same thing about someone who saw Jessica Biel at some nyc event and commented that she was truly stand out beautiful in person

Eva is also a dark skinned Latina. She describes herself as such. That melanin goes a long way. She will likely age well facially into her 50s so many of you will have to wait a while to see her crack.

I've had this experience but also where you see a famous person and they look.plainer and smaller than you'd expect. One like that was Mariel Hemingway.

Eva Longoria looks fantastic.

Yes I thought women at 47 would look like a crypt keeper!! Like they should be authorized. So happy she has bucked the trend!!! I guess we’ll reassess her annually.
