Talkeetna, Alaska. SO cute. Loved the hiker’s inn that was also a pancake house.

Another vote for Portland, Ore — best food city I’ve been to, competing with Charleston.

Really?? The campus is awesome but the town is pretty sad, what I saw of it anyway.

I am trying to connect your delicious burger to what was asked by OP and I am having a hard time. Or did you just want to tell us you had a great burger?

OP here. Plenty of people have replied with literally just the name of town or city and state, so this additional detail is above and beyond what others have posted! They posted the answer plus at least one detail!

Arlington, MA - random suburb next to Cambridge, MA. Cute downtown, lakes, and locale/fun housing stock.

Carpenteria CA. Just a friendly, low key vibe.

Northampton MA. Cute downtown.

Ft. Laramie WY. Beautiful place.

There are lots of other places I’ve loved but these were unexpected.

Ha! I grew up nearby and we call it Danish Disneyland. It’s sooooooooo touristy, but yes, it is pretty. I much prefer the other towns in the valley and SB.

Yeah, the minute we pulled into Solvand I knew it was a mistake. It sisn't help that it was about 105 out. Was glad when we high tailed it to SB.
