She started parroting the same crap the idiots are posting here: culture and family. And then telling me how many kids were killed in Chicago by guns and how many car accidents there were yesterday. Same old nonsense. I just said we were done. I could not be friends with her anymore. She was shocked and sobbing.
Enough is enough. I can’t hear the lies anymore.
They were probably sobs of joy because she can’t stand listening to you and your one sided point of view on a daily basis. Friends don’t need to agree on everything in life, they just need to be respectful when they disagree. Sounds like you need work on the respect part, your friend will be just fine without you.
There is nothing to respect about the side that is okay with innocent people being slaughtered.
Where do you get enjoying seeing people slaughtered from any part of that? You have a warped mind

You need to keep looking for the root of the problem, starting with the hatred in your heart towards people you love that might have different views and opinions than you.
This is such a stupid comment, I am embarrassed for you.

Stop blaming republicans. They didn't kill those kids. This was a very troubled young man who didn't get the help he needed from his parents/family, school and community. Lets start there.
Republicans don’t want universal health care either. So yeah, they’re to blame all around.

Everyplace has troubled young men. Every place does not have republican policies allowing them to buy assault rifles.
If they didn't buy them legally, they just would buy illegal ones or find another option. Guns are not the problem, people are.

Enough with the drama. She doesn't need someone like you in her life.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Dude --- people on the anti gun side seem to think it is a few people who own guns or believe in gun rights. That is wrong. It is the majority everywhere except major cities outside the South -- meaning even in major cities in the South a majority own guns and/or support gun rights. You cannot shun that many people. I have lots of friends in Texas and Florida. Almost everyone of them either carries or has a gun in their car.
Because they've been brainwashed over the years.
Just because lots of people have guns, doesn't mean you can't persuade them to give them up. Start by bankrupting all gun lobbies, stifling their PR and media marketing, and spending huge sums on moving public opinion.
