No surprise that Cheh endorsed Duncan. They both believe they are smarter than they are, don’t listen to other points of view, and can be stubborn.

And, yes, the signs helped make the case that one should be voting for Tricia Duncan. You can learn a lot about someone by the character and tenor of those attacking them.
What candidate was supposed to be the beneficiary of the signs? Goulet?
Hard to say. The Foxhallers were backing Goulet, but seem to have just figured out that his position on the schools changes depending on who he is talking to.

Any action that causes the likes of the FCCA to start a negative campaign against a candidate is greatly beneficial to that candidate, especially in a crowded field. DC has by far the greatest concentration of political strategists in the entire world and yet you have the likes of the FCCA doing insanely boneheaded things.

Do you all actually think people didn’t like Mary??? Especially in Ward 3???
The Post endorsed her opponent in 2018 and she still absolutely trounced him. She would have won again with over 70% of the vote. The way I see it, her endorsement makes this a three way race between Frumin, Goulet, and Duncan. I despise Goulet and think he would be disastrous for both our ward and the city. I like Frumin well enough, but his positions on building new schools in Ward 3 have really disappointed me. I will be voting for Tricia Duncan. We can’t let Goulet win.
I agree that it's become a three-way race. The others - Bergman, Brown, Cohen, Finley, Thomas etc. - are all very fine candidates, but are only helping Goulet by hanging around at this point.
