If you guys are now doctors, lawyers, and business owners, your experience at these high schools is a little out of date and not really relevant to the discussion of current school environment, rigor, etc. Just saying. It’s something I routinely remind myself now that I’m 30+ years out of NCS and beginning to look at high schools for my daughter. My experience with these schools does not apply now.

Do you think their high school education at Wilson was as high quality as the education our kids received at Sidwell? Probably not.

Also, just a few kids a year matriculate from Wilson to T20 schools. Every year there are a handful, <10, and removing the crew athletic recruits leaves about 5 a year. Meh.

You keep telling yourself that. And anyway, the implication that families who don't spend $50k/year on their kids' education don't "value" education is offensive to me. And could not be less true in at our WOTP elementary, which yes, has numerous Ivy legacies in the parent body.

They will leave for private.
