I don't know how the new, post-2020 census redistricting will affect it, but Democrats need a substantial lead in that kind of poll to actually take/keep control of Congress due to extreme Republican gerrymandering.

Gerrymandering after the 2020 census went extraordinarily well for Democrats. There are details in the 2022 House of Representatives thread.
