LOL what? GW has ridiculous tuition for a mediocre education.

The buildings are very nice and pretty from the outside. They're mostly decrepit on the interior.
Signed,
The biggest GU booster on this board (yet realistic about its facilities)

There are things to dislike about every school. For Georgetown it’s:
Weak endowment
Georgetown area is a pain/no metro/no parking
Super expensive
Lots of rich international students
Preppy vibe
For DC locals it isn’t far enough away as I’d want for my kids to attend
Catholic/Jesuit might turn some off (not me)
You left out the shoddy upkeep—which is all over the internet.

You forgot the first one: they can't get in.

AU gets lots of appreciative posts.

GT is Georgia Tech

But the claim that "everything" is broken and full of rats/mold and so on is just silly. A lot of buildings could use some sprucing up, but the place is perfectly habitable, and I've never encountered any rats (except in the aforementioned administration!).
Things like that Instagram account are like all online reviews: usually people don't bother to post unless their views are extreme, and people who are extremely negative post more than people who are extremely positive.
