hmmmm... So you are saying that there were only 3 cases in one grade and the entire school went virtual so people could get covid tested and have a jump start on travel/holiday plans? I wonder if all of the families were ok with that decision?

County health authorities ordered the school to go virtual for 10 days which happened to fall right before spring break.

This is not true. The county cannot order a school to close. It is against the law.

The school didn’t close, it went virtual. And the ADW mandated it. Get it straight.

Umm, this is the same thing. You have so many cases that you cannot operate your school in person.

I hope the little flower's head of school knows about this thread.To say the least it has gotten a lot of traction. Maybe the head could offer insight. IDK if that would help or ignite

Our school is 100% back to normal. Also an ADW school. No restrictions whatsoever and we have had many large gatherings. No testing either.

Oh please. It is not anything like 2020. We have vaccines, treatments, and this strain is extremely mild. Hospitalizations are miniscule. Nothing is going to be cancelled. Relax.

Every class is not receiving virtual learning and if so, it's limited. This is basically an extended break for teachers and children. A sprinkling of virtual is a weak substitute

This school like few others have been open since 09/2020. They have been gradually being back many of the activities the community cherished. Unfortunately, a few people were positive and then to spread quickly as this variant often does. The school recognized the issue and pivoted to a virtual option for a few days. Why in the world is anyone complaining. They are trying to do the best for the majority. They are doing the right things.

Why? Are there any k-8 Catholic schools doing testing. It’s cost prohibitive for our school.
