My teen says "boi" (carries out the "oi" sound at the end) after many sentences, sort of for emphasis. I'm not sure this is really new, but it's new for her. She was big into "sussybacca" for a while too as another poster mentioned.

TLDR is ‘too long, didn’t read’. If you post many, long winded paragraphs, you can end it with a tdlr version as in a short, summarized version with one or two sentences.


Yes, I know that. But teens use it differently—to mean a summary or saying something briefly. I find many of their terms are things I recognize but they use in a broader sense. OG to mean the original or older version of anything. low key to mean “a little bit” — she was low-key mean to me about my hair.

There’s one that makes me laugh where they take “She put her whole pu*sy into it” meaning someone put a lot of effort into it and change it for various things by adding “ussy” to the end of a word

So if a farmer was working really hard at farming he’s putting his whole farmussy into it

This thread is hilarious. I don't have a tween/teen, but the only new things I saw was cap and brick (which I don't quite get). I feel like if I know the rest, it is pretty mainstream, at least in internet culture in general.

TLDR is used here on DCUM, for example. Spill the tea, I googled from Grey's anatomy. Etc.

But I like the (presumably kidding) posts with the super old/obvious lingo. You guys are GOAT.
