Ethan's post was true (maybe the room was not a family room -- but its contents were cleared). If stating facts are an attack, then ok?
And he wasn't the one claiming to be bullied. Adults stepped-in. As they should.

"Speaking as a Democrat, this is a ridiculous set up. That 17-year-old is a sophisticated kid who has been volunteering with campaigns literally since age 10 and is few months shy of being a legal adult. We can take issue with the lack of civility Youngkin’s aides displayed without pretending that they attacked a toddler or something. Come off it."

No apology for the target or content of the tweet. Not even a "we're better than this" or "I hold myself to a higher standard." Nope, just a regret that his team was caught.
I'm so tired of white men doing bad stuff and then forgiving themselves if their bad acts blow up on them.
How shitty. Until Youngkin actually apologizes to this kid without caveat or equivocation, he owns this.
He said he regretted that it happened.
We know you don't like Youngkin. We know this teen doesn't like Youngkin.
But, we also know this teen is loving this attention.

Can you believe the outrage over this? Absolutely moronic. This senior in high school shouldn't be putting out "Shameful!" tweets if he doesn't like the response he gets. He seems like an utter ahole, now whining that he didn't get a "proper apology." I would absolutely hate to be roommates in college with someone like this - always looking for a problem and then inventing one if nothing presents itself. He's one to avoid.
Avoid shifting the issue to the teen in question and all your other red herrings. Do you really believe the tweet reply was APPROPRIATE from the official campaign? Really?

Kid needs to grow thicker skin if he's going to immerse himself in politics.
Precisely this. Maybe he should have been taught to keep his political views off Twitter if he didn't want anyone responding in kind. I have zero sympathy for him. Have you seen his Twitter? Thanking all his "supporters"?? What an utter sycophant. This is the stuff of his dreams and he'll be milking it all the way to a job in Democratic politics, god help us all.

No, we actually don’t. So it would be great if you would post whatever evidence you have that supports this.

OMG. Could you possibly be making a bigger deal out of something so, so stupid and trivial? This is why no one takes you seriously. Find some bigger fish to fry. Or get a hobby.

kid didn't complain. But why must the bullied stick up to the bullies? In this case, actual adults advocated for the minor. As they should when they witness bullying. Glenn apparently agreed. He just forgot to say "sorry."
