Who are these people with paneer in their fridges? To me that would be something specifically for a recipe and not just in the cheese drawer. Love that stuff.
I mean, we are Indian so that’s why, but paneer lasts a long time so get some! You can freeze it for ages.
OK, so how do I get it? I want to get some and eat some and freeze some! Do you make it or buy it?
Get it! They have it at Whole Foods and Wegmans! I usually buy it at the Indian store but it’s becoming much more common to find it all over now. I have made it but it takes a while so I just buy it.
Another paneer PP. Costco sells 2-packs of paneer - we store in the freezer as we eat a paneer dish almost every week. Saag paneer, kadai paneer, paneer with peas, etc.
DP, but I've seen Gopi brand paneer at the Gaithersburg Costco on 355. I get some whenever they have it in stock.
Can you share which Costco you find paneer at?
