Canceled the order after seeing this post. I wanted wife to be happy. Ordered another one and paid for fastest shipping. Mixer arrived today. Happy wife. Happy me (I think?).

+3 for sure would rather a 2 week delay then a size I didn't want. I'd also prefer that to my DH disappearing for 8 hours on xmas eve to drive to nyc to get one in person

It is one thing to desire a new appliance, another to also re-design cabinetry to go with the appliance
Baking, grinding, ice cream, juicing. Didn’t redesign cabinet for it, it was a new build. I know the general location in kitchen where I use it most. We had a cabinet built for it that had outlet, base that slides out and back in easily, storage for my additional bowls and storage for all of the attachments/accessories.
