Just like the sports teams. Seems this would be a way for MCPS to allow kids to continue to perform (choral, instrumental, dance, theatre, etc.) and play (indoor and outdoor sports clubs) not just the verified group of team sports.

Sure. That makes sense. When it’s the vaccinated athletes spreading Covid through my kids’ high school.
There's an outstanding explanation of base rate bias in this tweet thread from the Baltimore City Health Department. With gifs!

Nothing there really applies to our kids. The risk for a 7 year old is much different than the risk to a 67 year old. And it is reasonable to take that into consideration.
Which is why anyone pushing for a vaccine mandate for kids is in the wrong.
It applies to comments like "it's the vaccinated athletes spreading covid through my kids' high school".
Now, if you think that the risk of the vaccine is greater for your 7-year-old than the risk of the vaccine-preventable disease, I really don't know what to tell you, other than that you should prepare yourself for the possibility of a vaccine requirement.

Yes, yes, and yes. Vaccinations for all MCPS staff and all students. If it’s been 6 months - a booster.
Vaccinations are the key for in person learning and all after school activities.
It has become more than clear that vaccines are not going to be our way out of Covid. Despite what Fauci and Pfizer have been telling you.
The 100% vaccinated athletes are the ones catching and transmitting Covid and causing these outbreaks at school. Not the unvaccinated 5 year olds. You could vaccinate every kid in MoCo and we would still be dealing with the same issues.
