On the contrary, I feel like boys/men have it worse. I tell my grandsons whatever you do, keep your hands to yourself. No means no and when they are older, I’ll tell them to make sure they think with their head on their shoulders and not between their legs.

Grandma, do you understand that your message -and that you think it’s worse for boys- underscores the issue? Yes, your grandsons should keep their hands to themselves. Lord. Talk about expecting the minimal from boys.

Never forget how many women are part of the problem.

Is this something every aging woman sees?

I have always seen it as we have lived in so many different countries.

However, it is becoming more crystal clear as ai get older.

Today a BBC reporter on the radio was describing the Princess of Jordan, who is in mortal danger from her Shiek ex=husband, who has already kidnapped and imprisoned his daughter. He has made death threats against the princess.

The reporter said, "Well she did not help her case by having an affair...which made him understandably angry."

SERIOUSLY?? He has five other wives. And somehow, he has a right to threaten her life and freedom because she sought a more healthy relationship?????

I thought that was incredibly biased and unprofessional.

You really need to reflect upon your father's views and how they have affected you.

By the time they are teens, their peers have more influence. By the time they are heading off for college, the whole world has more influence. Having a great family and loving parents doesn't outdo the effect of social media and the world around them.

You not noticing this until after you lost your looks is, in and of itself, misogyny, OP.

It is. My own 15 year old son seems to hate women and girls. It's terrible and his dad adds to the problem.
