Maybe none in same age groups. Any age groups with more than 2? Good luck in competing with one ECNL level player per age group.
Not sure about the other age groups, but I think:
'06, 4 solid players left VYS for ECNL teams
Arlington - 2 (this team won the national championship last year for U15)
McLean - 2
'05, VYS has lost at least 5 05 players to ECNL teams
BRYC - 2
McLean - 2
VDA - 1
'04:
Bethesda - 1
And these were all top players at the club.

ECNL-R? Sure why not.
But ECNL proper, no please, else drop the “E” and just call it the National Club League. It is watered down too far already. IMHO.

Some recent VYS teams have had some D1 players, and that'd definitely be more likely to continue if they move up.
But they're neither a massive club like Loudoun/Arlington or a traditional powerhouse like McLean and BRYC.
That said, if SYC can go MLS Next ...
SYC is actually a bad comparison. Their recent team of 03s just sent like 6-7 guys to Division I and another to Montclair State, which is a DIII power. The boys program has gotten much better with the changes from LMVSC and they have the size to play at MLS Next as they develop, especially with the arrangement with McLean possibly drawing some kids.
Now Alexandria going MLS Next is another story.

I’m guessing avg 4 per age group. Some leave before u12 though. How many Union players at those age groups played for Mclean travel from u9-u12?

VYS doesn’t have nothing. They have a large and successful rec league that feeds their travel program when it starts at ulittles. That’s why all their younger teams are good.
