She doesn't care about appealing to NOVA voters. That's the entire point.
She going for the Virgitucky vote.
But I thought all ‘those people’ are too racist to vote for a Black candidate. Isn’t what the Dems always say?
White people will always vote for people holding up the patriarchy. Just because you have a Black friend or voted for a woman does not mean you can't be racist or misogynist. Look at the Black people and women telling you otherwise. People voted for her because she's holding an enormous gun. They prefer that over voting for a man who takes paternity leave. Let's be clear.
So the black lady is racist?

No thanks.
Sorry, you’re about a day late.
This thread is about her being the next governor. Try to keep up.

It's interesting that she won a 51-48 victory. Remember a few days ago when WaPo projected Sears to lose 50-46 with a 4-point margin of error? Yet another round of inaccurate polling and statistics. It should be obvious by now that you can't get accurate data for statistical modeling if one side is being painted as "crazy" or "evil."
Do you understand 4-point margin of error?
Do you understand addition?

We need to stop teaching advanced math because you are going to hurt someone's feelings.

Another out of touch liberal. Virginia is not California, it has a gun ownership rate (45%) higher than Ohio (42%) and the same as Texas. The same number for California is 18%.
Just another reason you are losing, you are so out of touch you tried to pass california level gun control levels and lead to a armed march of 40-50k heavily armed men to the state capital.

I like you. Can we be friends?
No. Y'all always like the one crazy black person who says what you want to hear. Candice Owens anyone? You love her. Armstrong Williams? As long as people aren't too black and parrot your talking points, you like to hold them out to prove that you are not racist.
No - we elected her for her views, her platform, her honesty, and her proven service to our country in serving with the U.S. Marine Corps. We don’t elect politicians because we “love” them. That is weird.
What’s even more bizarre is how willingly you dems accuse anyone who disagrees with you as a “hater” or “hate-filled racist,” while at the same time, your hearts are filled with vitriolic hate for certain Republican politicians - the latest being our fairly elected Lieutenant Governor.

So sad for Virginia.

I didn't say she was racist, but she's made the ultimate patriarchal bargain as a Black woman. When women hold up the patriarchy they are rewarded by conservative men. Look how far she's gotten by being a Republican - she's breaking barriers. A lot harder to do fighting against the patriarchy. Success to women means many different things. In some cases that success on a personal level will only come by bucking their own best interests. While she can give lip service to promoting a better life for Black women now that she's Lt. Governor, if she really looked at the GOP policies, she would know that generally speaking that is not possible. She can break barriers and be a role model to some on a conservative playing field, but does the end justify the means? I think there's some cognitive dissonance going on.
