Also, at that age, it’s important to somewhat match physical size/ number of presents but they have no sense of how much things cost. So if you get her a bean bag chair for her room or even a big box with all her winter snow gear in it along with some smaller presents that she’ll be really excited about, it should be enough.
We already have a scooter and balance bike (all were originally gifts for DC1, so while she could get her own, that just feels like a ridiculous waste). A beanbag chair could be an interesting option, just not sure where it would fit in her room…
NP and I hear you- my youngest turns 3 in December plus has so much stuff from our older kid that I'm struggling to come up with ideas. In our case she has a balance bike that was originally DC1's but not a scooter so we are going to get her a scooter for her birthday but now I need Christmas ideas and ideas for the grandparents too. Sha already has a pottery barn chair courtesy of the grandparents from last year.
