When I first read about this attack, I was confused. If the beaches have crocodiles, why did the hotel build there? Where are the tourists supposed to swim? This, to me, is different from crocs remaining in a lake or lagoon.
AGAIN there are clear warning signs not to go on beach at night for this very reason. She ignored signs. Can’t change stupid.
These people aren’t getting randomly attacked. They are doing dumb S and paying the consequences.
This post is about the attack on a boy, and local media are reporting that he was attacked outside of the water (the croc tried to drag him INTO the lagoon) and in an area without warning signs.

I had this happen at Club Med Cancun. Sick with Montezuma’s revenge for three days out of a week. Most of our group also got sick during this time. Decided to stick with Virgin Islands and Hawaii after that.
Club Med is far from luxury.
