It’s unprofessional to ask to use the bathroom at a private home. Go on your way or go after. You should be able to map out public bathrooms in your work area. Just like if I was out for a walk I wouldn’t stop and ask a neighbor if I could use their bathroom- I would go to Starbucks, etc.
