This would be epic. And as time has passed I believe I would take every word he wrote as the truth.

He’s in love, seems to have rebuilt his relationship with most of his kids and living a simple life with a woman who appears kind and genuine. I loved his birthdays picture with him, Ben and Barbie. A simple happy birthday all about Ben. No word of the past. No one is perfect and we all make mistakes. Jen is using divorce and betrayal to bring in the pitty and money. He screwed up, can you imagine what drove him to that.

I agree, but to continually bring it up over and over on social media is getting exhausting. That’s what private counseling is for. It’s past time for her to to continue to mention her failed marriage to the world. And again, they were doomed the years at the minimum anyhow, so it was not and should not have been such a shock to her. It’s exhausting.

She is so self absorbed. She even had to, once again remind us at Ben and her birthday breakfast how broken they both were 3 years ago. Move on, you look stupid. The Book "I Take My Coffee Black" while two years old, somehow found its way to the desk of someone who put it front of Joe or whoever. It's not Tyler's fault that they are just now inviting him on the show. The message isn't wrong and the message is as important now as it was then.
I think about those who say (immediately after the George Floyd murder or the Uvalde Shooting) now is not the time talk about police brutality, now is not the time to talk about racial stereotypes and bigotry, now is not the time to talk about gun control. Well two years removed, it's too late now? God how did we miss it?
And no, this isn't Tyler or Jen...and I am not a huge fan of either. But I just watched the Morning Joe interview and was literally moved at his sincerity. Sure, it's slicker and maybe more performative than you like...but you have to respect the platform he was afforded and I think he did himself, the black community and his book justice.

Two different posters genius. I’m the one who said this thread is nuts and I do not even know how to “check Jen’s socials” and probably don’t have the accounts to do so. I am interested in movies and music which is why I keep seeing this thread pop up.

Why do I read this? Because I see my smart, interesting friends liking her posts! Following her! They are just engaging (lightly) with IG Jen. But I know her from way back in the Christian Texas world (I mean I have followed her since then) and she is just this slow rolling narcissistic train wreck that I cannot look away from, or warn others about IRL bc then I look crazy. So I come here to kvetch.

But, for just a bad match (like Jen and Tyler) I probably wouldn’t say anything either.

I feel that Jen has always proclaimed these folks who moved down to TX to be near each other to be more than friends, but almost family. I guess that's why I am so perplexed as to why no one has stepped in to tell her to reel it in before she throws any more time at Tyler.
Heck, now I am starting to doubt so much that Jen wrote about. Did Jenny and Tray and the others really move down to be near her and Brandon? Or was Jen just trying to spin it like that, to once again make a normal gesture a grand one?

I am grateful for the people in my life who speak the hard truth to me. Not at the time, certainly- it smarts. But the truth makes you stop and think about the situation.
