Is Kathy Jenkins going to do all the recruiting for the 28s even though there’s not one sssa girl on the blue team. It’ll be interesting to see how that teams recruiting goes.

As a parent who has been through this and learned the hard way, I’d get a consultant. Like yesterday. And keep it quiet. That’s what the girls who did the best have done.

This!

Really? People are hiring consultants?

5 months from now is July 9th, but okay. All are tracking.

If you go to a D1 college game this spring is it OK after the game when the coaches just hanging around to go up and introduce yourself and say hi?

You clearly don’t have a kid on varsity or if you do they’re sitting on the bench so go get some counseling & professional help or sports psychology therapy do whatever you can so you have a better experience. I’m pretty sure the same poster that keeps trying to trash the program, trash the girls and make drama when there really isn’t any to make and spread rumors and lies. Please do not feed this troll or this disgruntled, parent or student.

This is normal attrition and the ebb and flow of teams all across the country, with kids graduating, kids not making varsity, and kids not really able to play at the level of the program. It's pretty normal for any high-level sport at an elite high school. Some years you have strong classes, and some years you don’t. It's quite typical for all the area high schools to experience both strong years and weaker years. Really not that deep!

Really bad take
It is actually a solid take. Right that it is just not that deep. You’re always trying to make things worse or more diabolical or more diseased than they really are... It’s hard with a lot of competition and a lot of better players out there but lax in the DMV is not easy nor will it be in college.

“Elite high school”
yes compared to the rest of the state of virginia and the rest of the country. It would fit the mold of an elite private HS at $60,000.

There is no topic that lights up this board faster than SSSAS lacrosse. Good grief.

Several sophomores lare leaving the sport or reevaluating whether they want to continue with Saints. It isnt really worthwhile for them to play for Saints, even if they continue on with their club. Its unfortunate....

The Bulls sophomore automatically made it? I would be out too. How did they "accidentally" send this out?

Not sure the “bullis” sophomore is going to make any difference on that team. Surprised she would make varsity at sssa with all the players they already have.

The deal was probably cut before she came to the school

Probably should have gotten to know them before handing out deals.
