Nor did any DC area ECNL team. Some of the other MA teams placed top 10. This is a small sample of the ECNL teams and the MA teams did not do well with a limited number of ECNL teams represented.
Maryland United was 1-1-1 with a 0 goal differential (best from DC Metro area)
McLean had 0-2-1 record and -2 goal differential.
Loudoun with an 0-2-1 record with a -4 goal differential.
BRYC was 4 spots behind that with an 0-2-1 record and -8 goal differential.
VDA was last with an 0-3-0 record (30th out of 32 teams) - I read on here that VDA would nosedive this season. Some poster was spot on!
Other MA teams
#5 Charlotte 2-0-1 (Best record from the MA region)
#9 Wilmington 2-0-1
#10 NC Fusion 2-0-1
#25 South Carolina United 0-2-1
Richmond 0-2-1
CESA 1-2-0
NCFC 0-3-1 (Last place in all of U15)
Why are these discussions always 2005 focused??
Other then the last post, it looks like they were talking about the 07 drama, and the 06 effort to recruit a goalie and strikers. No need to get so defensive about your 05 team's play.

Keep gossiping away. This is designed to keep any other families with talented girls away from McLean 07s so their little ones can continue to wear the badge on the top team. It's a very effective approach. Build the wall, as somebody else said recently.
What is the wall around the "elite" 2007 team?
The wall that other parents talk about for other teams. Locals only please. We don’t want our kids to face competition from the outside. It’s weak and a red flag for anybody evaluating clubs and their long term future. Even if the coaches don’t think that way, it’s bad when parents and kids are thinking that way. Arlington went through this a few years ago. Somebody noticed that a lot of top Arlington players (probably DA) were not from Arlington and groused about it, saying there ought to be a residency rule. What a joke.
