Take the energy you're so happy to pour into writing basically the same post over and over on this thread and address it to them, or to the Hollywood Reporter or Variety or whatever outlet you want. Moore and Cohen will never see your rants on this site. If you were really genuinely as furious as you claim to be, you'd be trying to get to them to tell them to donate, but instead you burn a lot of time and energy here and tracking the FCPS tally of donations. I'm serious. Go shout about them somewhere that your shouting might get heard outside this echo chamber. I'm not defending them if they've failed to keep up with the news and haven't donated--they should donate. But the constant repetition of the same posts here does nothing to help that happen.

Its been around $2M every year for the past 5 yrs and perhaps more (see the Program Budget). They pay retainers to lawyers to handle the legal business of the Board and Administration. There's always some issue that takes extra time. I don't expect the renaming issue generated much additional work or you would have heard about it from the "change" advocates.

How do you know they aren't helping?
And good for them for publicizing the issue. Better to bring awareness and get it addressed now. Imagine how expensive it'd be to change the name in 10 years? It's just a shame it was changed decades ago. Would have been cheaper.

I don't know the details of the court case--and I was against the change--but, I agree with this.
The SB has a lot of power--including the power to ignore their constituents and make silly fiscal decisions like spending a million dollars to change the name of a school.
