This is true. The reason make up 'works' to make a woman appear "attractive" is because it mimics the appearance of a young, fertile and sexually aroused woman who is ready for action. Ditto high heels. Think about the word "attractive". It's become the norm so nobody thinks about it anymore, but a hundred years ago, only whores and actresses wore make up.

I never wear heels because they hurt. But what does that have to do with being aroused and ready for action? Do you grow taller when you are horny?

Maybe something to do with the toe curling and pointing of feet that many women naturally exhibit during orgasm.

It's not arousal. It makes you move your butt in a more noticeable fashion. Heels draw the eye to the butt and foster sexual attention.

Then how do you explain men noticing from the front? Hip swivel action?

Red, swollen butt on female monkeys (bonobos??) indicates she's ready to mate.

Women who used donor eggs to get pregnant. Feels like reproduction has become a commodity.

Agreed. Note to self: IVF and IR marriage are hot button items.

Hell, if anything, that's a motivation for me to get a bunch of cats and make them outdoor cats - and not wear a bell.

Birds are creepy animals. Fuck their constant side eye and 4am chirping.

+1000. I cannot beleive people actually say that about cats! I am not crazy about cats or birds.

Most humane societies say that about cats, because indoor cats don't pick up strange viruses and they generally live much, much longer than pet cats that go outside every day.

Although I guess if you hate cats too, this is a win-win.

PSA: birds aren't animals. And all of us, not just the birds, are looking at you with a side eye.

How many people do donor eggs and donor sperm and use a surrogate? I don't know of a single example.

I work in an REs office. You would be surprised at how many people do this -- there usually is a biological tie somewhere --sperm mostly. Or female relative is the egg donor. In some ways easier than adoption. As for DE, many many DE moms out there. After the opinions on this thread, I once again understand why they do not share their family building efforts with the world.

To be fair, many DE Moms don't share because they want to pass off the child as their bio-child (don't mean that to sound cruel, trying to talk plainly). In many cases, they don't even tell the child.

I am VERY pro life, but I tell people I am more moderate than I really am. I had a teen pregnancy and placed the child for adoption and I know how hard it is. But almost nobody knows this.

High heels elevate the buttocks by about 30 degrees and exaggerate the sex specific traits of a woman's gait. Also, they make it difficult for a woman to run (away).

High heels as accessories (pun intended) to rape?
