No. What happened is BP was at FCV, which was good at developing players. Then STJ bought FCV and burned it to ashes. BP got out before the thing was totally aflame and *took with him* to VDA the kids that FCV had developed. So those kids, now older, are doing well and getting recruited. The younger ages not so much because VDA has no development pipeline as both VSA and PWSI suck. So today VDA remains an “acquirer,” taking the best kids from other clubs once they are developed, and getting them recruited. VDA is essentially a marketing platform for high school players. The younger kids are just there to capitalize the salaries.

A-lot of those players at FCV were developed by other clubs and coaches like Loudoun. The rest of it is accurate however. Funny thing is the acquisitions lately have all been insta players propped up by clubs falsely (looks at the now watered down USYNTs). The results show in the postseason. And those clubs dont miss those players. So the question is he really a good judgment of talent? Or really good at surfing the web and poaching players that other clubs propped up that couldn’t beat VDA. It really stinks for parents who bought in and paid $$ assuming players would get developed into champion but didn’t make the cut at Virginia Development Acquisitions.

Regardless college coaches look at more than just instagram accounts.

Really sucks how this is playing out.

YNT = National team call up. Not training center. Players mentioned go to camps and get caps.

You sound like an Arlington dad but you’re probably a disgruntled Vsa or PWSI parent. My money is on VSA.

No club develops kids. Parents get that done on the side with private coaches. All these clubs are just platforms to market what your kid can do in order to maximize their chances in the college marketplace. Currently BP and VDA are the best at this so they get their pick of the best kids in the area.

VDA is just poaching girls from other clubs. They are good at promoting players they didn’t actually develop. They take already established stars from other clubs and then blast them on social media like they are their own.

Sorry it didnt workout for you. The players from PWSI and VSA can ball. As with any kid, it’s now about how much work they continue to put in.
