This is worded more harshly than I’d have put it, but it’s basically how I felt until I saw her appearance on the Kelce podcast right before they got engaged. IDK, to me she seemed blissfully happy and head over heels in love. I think another PP had it right. Taylor WANTS to be sees as an edgy cool artsy creative, but at the end of the day what she really wanted all along was for the hunky star footballer to pick her, give her a fat rock, and worship the ground she walks on.

(Np). I came to the same conclusion after seeing her on Jimmy Fallon. She explained that she didn’t want to do the SuperBowl halftime show because she’s too focused on her incredible boyfriend. I think she even said something like, “every Sunday he puts his life on the line”. Girl, what? She called him a “Gladiator.” I think she’s head over heels smitten and when the rose colored glasses come off, she’s going to be embarrassed at how impressed she was by football.

Problem with fillers is that it’s a treadmill that feels impossible to get off when you’re in the limelight. And like most body dysmorphia x you have to realize that Taylor doesn’t see her changing face the same way external observers do.

Millie Bobby Brown could pass for 40. And just so many Instagram influencers are in the early 20 and are doing it. It is so baffling to me.

The Mormon housewives do it too. They’re on their 20s and some of them look 40.

Taylor does have more fillers recently. But def not as bad as Kylie Jenner who literally looks like she is 15 years older than Taylor rather than 10 years younger.

She’s a terminally online middle aged bumpkin with arrested development. Surrounded by yes-men and yes-women and conniving sycophants seeking to orbit and use her, including Travis Kelce and Blake Lively.

If Taylor came out with a banger of a single like Flowers or something, even if people started to find the song annoying after a while, more of the general public would resonate with Taylor because they emotionally connect to the song. The song becomes an ear worm and suddenly the singer’s omnipresence makes more sense.

+1. Actually Romantic could’ve been a great song if she tweaked just a couple of lyrics to throw shade at Trump’s tweets or haters in general. She has one of the largest platforms in the world and could bring awareness to all sorts of issues, yet she uses it for inconsequential drivel. At least heartbroken Taylor used to write beautifully wistful love songs that people could relate to.

The “you must be romantically interested in me because you’re such a hater” is just so trite and overused. It’s not even good writing.

It's also classic mean girl gaslighting. It's the kind of argument someone makes when they know they are in the wrong but wants to distract from that fact by discrediting their accuser. "Why are you obsessed with me?" "You're just jealous." "I was joking, can't you take a joke?"

And Taylor obsessives who defend her no matter what immediately fall in line, argue Charli must have done something we don't know about to deserve this. This is a schoolyard dynamic and it should be waaaaaaaay beneath someone in Taylor's position.

I think one of the challenges is even her fans say they often have to listen to her album multiple times before they get into it.

Taylor doesn’t do singles anymore. So essentially you have someone who is everywhere all the time yet most people cannot sing the chorus of any recent song. Notice they always go back to 1989? Or they hear a clip and they’re not into it. And unlike her fans, they don’t go back and listen repeatedly.

That’s where a lot of the “annoying” aspect comes from. It’s the dissonance of the art being separated from the artist in the eyes of the general public.
