I read an architectural analysis of what’s been announced and it makes no sense, especially the square footage. There are no fully fleshed out plans, just intern-level renderings (where the inside and the outside done even add up) The announced price keeps going up. They can’t build what they’re planning. So I think it’s just a huge money grab for Trump. He’s going to skim the money off of the “foundation” and the building will run into “huge delays” and will be unfinished in 2029. They will claim that they ran into “unexpected issues” and “ran out of money” and will stick it to the US taxpayer to finish rebuilding the WH.

Jennifer Jacobs with CBS confirmed that he’s rebuilding the presidential operations center, the bunker.

That’s what this has always been about and he is rushing to do it. Why?

If there was a legitimate reason to update the bunker — go to congress. Get authorization. Get apropos. Get checks and balances.

But that did not happen.

What is he up to??

On July 31, the White House announced its plans for constructing the ballroom. While promoting the project at the White House, Trump said the ballroom "won't interfere with the current building. … It will be near it but not touching it. It pays total respect to the existing building, which I’m the biggest fan of. It’s my favorite place. I love it."



Hmmm. Interesting how what was said is not what is happening.
