That’s not what he was doing. They aren’t elected. He was saying they basically dated women to come out to vote to protect abortion rights at the ballot box since the constitution doesn’t do it anymore. So let’s step up and show them that we’ll do that. Women in some states have already done it and we need to do it on a national level to avoid a 12 week national ban (or worse).

How can he threaten them by giving them back their own words. SCOTUS said women have electoral and political power to get the reproductive rights they want and Biden just repeated it back to them with emphasis. SCOTUS tasked the women of this country to fight for their rights and fight for women's rights is what they are going to get.

Now do gun control - you know, the thing that's killing actual kids in schools. Now protect IVF. Now do prenatal and post-natal care for mothers. This speech isn't for average worker, they aren't watching this. They are... working. But this speech has been successfully in shifting the media narrative on Biden's age and ability. And it will generate some good clips for social media, like this one where super-conservative is agreeing with Biden.
