The GOP is asking for the same "classified" personal notes that Biden made while VP. This is highly irregular and inappropriate and possibly illegal.

If it those documents were at the Penn-Biden Center and not Biden's bathroom in a semi-public space, how is that Biden's fault or responsibility?

The Justice Department defended Special Counsel Robert Hur's report on President Biden saying it was "consistent with legal requirements and Department policy" after the White House sent a pointed letter to the agency.

In the letter, obtained by Fox News, Associate Deputy Attorney General Bradley Weinsheimer defended the Hur report and its release to the public as being "consistent" with the DOJ's policy, and its legal requirements.

"Having carefully considered your arguments, the Department concludes that the report as submitted to the Attorney General, and its release, are consistent with legal requirements and Department policy," the letter, which was sent to White House Counsel Ed Siskel and Personal Counsel to Joe Biden Bob Bauer, said.

Weinsheimer noted that the fall-out surrounding the release of Hur's report on the president's memory was not "gratuitous" or "unduly prejudicial."

"The identified language is neither gratuitous nor unduly prejudicial because it is not offered to criticize or demean the President," the letter noted. "Rather, it is offered to explain Special Counsel Hur's conclusions about the President's state of mind in possessing and retaining classified information."

Because it wasn’t truth; it was an unprofessional political hit way out of bounds. Hur had no case. Hur had no evidence. Everything after that was unwarranted pandering to keep from being kicked out of the Republican patronage network.

This is not accurate at all.

The ire was that Hurr acted extremely partisan as if he was seeking approval fromTrump by damaging his main rival - and that he strayed from DOJ precedent when no criminal charges are found to abstain from much commentary.

Hurr found no criminal conduct or intent but took it upon himself to write hundreds of pages of opinion challenging the mental fitness of the president. Hurr went overboard and was extremely disrespectful to a sitting President.

It was tacky and unnecessary to cite his failure to have rapid recall regarding date of death for his son Beau.

The official who was present during the testimony said the questioning was often vague and difficult to answer promptly.

Oh, please. If this had been a report written about Trump, which included some descriptors of his memory or behavior, you'd be cheering from the rooftops. Face it. You all know the assessment of Biden is spot-on. You're just mad that it's been publicized for all to read.
